Support
How support works without an account
NuraTxt has no account and no server that receives your messages. That is good for your privacy, and it changes how we help:
- We cannot see your messages, contacts, phone number or devices. Please don’t send us message content or screenshots of conversations; describe the problem instead.
- For a purchase, send the Google Play order number from your receipt email (it looks like
GPA.1234-5678-9012-34567). With it we can find the purchase in the Google Play Console and help or refund. - For an app problem, tell us your phone model, Android version, the app version (Settings → About) and what happened. If the app offers a crash report, emailing it helps — it never contains your messages.
Email [email protected] for help, or [email protected] about your data or a grievance. We answer email, not phones, and aim to reply within a few working days.
Subscription
I paid, but the smart features are still locked
- Same Google account? The subscription belongs to the Google account that bought it. Check which account the Play Store on this phone uses.
- Restore. NuraTxt → Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases.
- Payment pending? UPI and some other methods can show as pending for a while. The smart features unlock once Google Play reports the payment complete.
- Connect once. The app needs one successful check with Google Play after you buy. Connect to the internet and open the app.
- Still locked? Email us your order number and app version.
New phone — the subscription didn’t come back
Sign in to Google Play with the same Google account, install NuraTxt from Google Play, then Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases. There is no device limit. A different Google account has no record of the purchase, and because NuraTxt has no account of its own we cannot move it between Google accounts.
I was charged twice
Two charges usually mean two purchases — often from two Google accounts. Send us both order numbers and we will help refund the duplicate through Google Play. You can also ask Google Play for a refund directly.
How do I cancel, and how do I get a refund?
Cancel: NuraTxt → Settings → Subscription → Manage in Google Play, or Play Store → your profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → NuraTxt → Cancel. You keep the smart features until the end of the paid period. Uninstalling does not cancel.
Refund: refunds follow Google Play’s refund policy. Shortly after a purchase you may be able to request one from Google Play directly (Google Play refunds). Otherwise email us your order number and we will look at it. Your rights under consumer law are not affected. Details: Refunds.
How does the free trial work?
One free trial per Google account, of the length shown in the app. At the end of the trial the subscription is charged and renews automatically unless you cancel in Google Play before the trial ends. Cancel during the trial and you are not charged.
“Subscription last confirmed 5 days ago. Connect to the internet to keep smart features.”
The app confirms your subscription with Google Play when you open it, at most once a day, and keeps the smart features on for seven days after each successful check. This line appears from the fifth day. Connect to the internet and open the app, and it goes away. Plain SMS is never affected.
Installing
The app only shows “Get NuraTxt on Google Play”
Android reports that this copy was not installed from Google Play, which is the only place we publish NuraTxt. Your incoming messages are still received and saved while that screen shows. Tap the button, install NuraTxt from Google Play, and everything will be there. If you are sure you installed from Google Play, email us your phone model and Android version.
Which phones does it work on?
Android 8.0 or newer. The optional AI features need a 64-bit phone with about 4 GB of memory or more. There is no iPhone, web or desktop version.
Messages and notifications
Notifications are late or don’t arrive
- Make NuraTxt your default SMS app: Settings → Default SMS app in NuraTxt, or Android Settings → Apps → Default apps → SMS app.
- Allow notifications for NuraTxt in Android Settings.
- Let NuraTxt run in the background. Android Settings → Apps → NuraTxt → Battery → Unrestricted. Also: on Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO turn on Autostart; on Samsung check Battery → Background usage limits and remove NuraTxt from sleeping apps; on Oppo, Realme and OnePlus allow Auto-launch and remove battery restrictions; on Vivo allow background running and autostart. NuraTxt shows the right setting for your phone in Settings → Background startup.
- Check your phone’s Do Not Disturb settings.
A message I was notified about is missing in the conversation
Tap Refresh if the conversation offers it, or close and reopen the app; a message that arrived while the app was closed is saved when the app next opens. If a message is missing from NuraTxt and from every other SMS app on the phone, it never reached your phone’s message store — tell us the app version and roughly when it happened.
A picture message (MMS) won’t download
Picture messages are fetched from your mobile operator over mobile data. Check that mobile data is on (MMS often does not work over Wi-Fi alone), that your operator’s MMS settings are present, and that NuraTxt is your default SMS app. If a download fails, NuraTxt shows a notification. If it keeps failing, tell us your operator and phone model.
A link was flagged “Tap with care” or “Better not to tap”
Link safety checks every link on your phone for warning signs, such as a shortened link that hides where it goes, an unencrypted address or a look-alike name. The check itself sends your links nowhere; only the optional Fetch link previews setting, off by default, contacts a link’s website. A warning is a caution, not a verdict on the sender, and it can be wrong both ways; the choice to open the link is yours. If a link is wrongly flagged, describe it in an email rather than forwarding it.
Smart features
A reminder was missing, late or wrong
Reminders are read from your messages on your phone by fixed rules, and can miss an unusual message or misread a date. Check that Settings → Reminders is on and the sender isn’t muted there, and that NuraTxt may run in the background (above) — battery restrictions are the most common reason an alarm doesn’t fire. You can also set a reminder yourself: press and hold a message and tap the bell. Use a calendar for anything important.
A payment card or amount is wrong
Payment cards and the money ledger repeat what your bank’s message said; they don’t connect to your bank and can misread an unusual format. Always check the message itself. To help us improve, tell us the shape of the message (for example, “a bill reminder from my electricity board shows the balance instead of the amount due”) rather than forwarding it.
How do I turn off the AI, or delete the model?
Settings → YugCore AI. You can turn it off and keep the download, or choose Turn off & free up space to delete the model. The AI is off until you turn it on and runs only on your phone.
Your data
How do I delete everything?
Android Settings → Apps → NuraTxt → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app. Either deletes everything NuraTxt holds, immediately. It does not cancel a subscription (do that in Google Play) or delete messages from your phone’s shared message store. Details: Your data.
How do I report a crash?
If the app hit an error, Settings → About → Report a crash shows the exact report: the error type, where in our code it happened, the screens you had opened and when (by name only), a report number, and your phone model and versions. It never contains your messages, numbers or names. Tap Email this report to open your email app with it addressed to [email protected], then press Send — or delete it. Nothing is sent automatically.
